Sky Go gets Disney movies plus Syfy, Star Plus and Universal Channel

As well as Disney movies arriving on Sky Go, programmes from the Syfy and Star Plus channels are also available from today.

Shows from Crime & Investigation Network and Universal Channel as well as Syfy and Star Plus can now be streamed in addition to shows from Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and Sky Living.

The recent addition of Channel 4’s 4oD service to Sky’s on demand arsenal also means you’ll be able to stream shows from Channel 4 and More4 via Sky Go as well. Those who shell out for the new Sky Go Extra service (£5/month) will also be able to download episodes for offline viewing.

The addition of 4oD to Sky Go also means you’ll be able to download whole box-sets worth of The Inbetweeners, Spaced, and This is England ‘88 episodes.

So you can queue up downloads of The IT Crowd (Channel 4), Warehouse 13 (Syfy), The Lion King (Sky Movies Disney) and Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic) should you need a real televisual fix over the Easter break.

You log in to Sky Go using your Sky ID and can be logged in on up to two devices at once. Sky Go is available on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and a wide range of Android devices. The programmes you can access will be dependent on your Sky TV subscription. So for example, if you’re not a Sky Movies subscriber you won’t be able to access the Disney movies.
