Sky Sports reveals first European Rugby fixtures for Champions and Challenge Cups

Sky Sports has announced fixtures for the first 40 live games from the European Rugby Champions Cup and Challenge Cup. 

The first Challenge Cup fixture sees Harlequins facing off French rivals Montpellier at Twickenham on November 12. On the Saturday, Oyonnax will face Ulster in the first Challenge Cup game to be shown on Sky Sports. 

Other first round fixtures for Sky Sports customers includes Saracens facing four times European champions Toulouse at home, Ospreys against Exeter Chiefs and Racing Metro take on Glasgow in Paris.

“The first set of European fixtures has provided some fascinating match-ups and Sky Sports will show the current Aviva Premiership, Guinness PRO12 and French Top 14 champions over the first two rounds.  It’s going to be another great year of European Rugby and Sky Sports will be there every step of the way.” 

Sky Sports also has the rights to home and away matches between Leinster and reigning Champions Cup title holders RC Toulonnais and current Guinness PRO12 champions Glasgow playing Northampton Saints.
