Read Recombu Digital’s round up of Latest broadband, phone and TV dealsThe cost of the broadband is £2/month and the Homephone service, including line rental and calls to 0845/0870 numbers, costs £14.90/month, bringing the total cost to £16.90/month.

If you sign up for the deal on a 12 month basis then the normal £40 connection fee is also waived. If you don’t want or need a 12 month plan, then you can sign up for the service on a rolling 30-day contract basis. This gives you the freedom to cancel whenever you like, provided you give Tesco 30 days notice, but will see you having to pay for connection.

Whichever way you cut it, after 12 months the cost of the broadband will rise to £6/month, bringing the total to £20.90/month.

Tesco has also recently launched Clubcard TV, an on-demand service powered by Blinkbox. This is a free on-demand TV service available to Tesco Clubcard owners. You don’t need to be a Tesco Broadband subscriber but we thought worth mentioning the free service alongside some very reasonably priced broadband. After all, every little helps…
