ITV’s new channel, the TOWIE-heavy and female-focussed ITVBe is now available on Freeview, YouView Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.
Shows from the new channel, including Dinner Date, Seven Days With and Millionaire Matchmaker will also be available to watch online through ITV Player, while Virgin Media customers can watch the show on the go through Virgin TV Anywhere.
The new channel is available at Freeview and YouView channel 26, Freesat channel 118, Sky channel 179 and Virgin Media channel 199. Customers should retune their boxes if they don’t automatically see the channel.
Peter Fincham, director of television at ITV, said: “Expanding ITV’s family of channels to introduce a new free-to-air, female skewing channel focusing on entertainment and reality means our viewers will have access to even more great content.
“We identified an opportunity to develop what is currently part of the ITV2 schedule – reality and non-scripted shows, which are very popular with young women and housewives with kids – into a distinct channel proposition, aimed more squarely at that audience.”
The new channel comes ahead of a relaunched ITV Player that is geared more towards live TV than catch-up, although you’ll still be able to watch programmes from the last 30 days as normal.
