Virgin Media TiVo offers arthouse on-demand with Curzon Home Cinema

Virgin TV customers with a TiVo box can now dip a toe into the arthouse world thanks to the arrival of Curzon Home Cinema. 

The pay per view streaming service, already available on Freesat, Wuaki.tv, BT TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung smart TVs lets customers who can’t get to one of Curzon’s cinemas in London watch the latest movies from the comfort of their own home. 

Titles available now service include the multi award-winning Still Alice, the recently released Manglehorn starring Al Pacino and from August 28 onwards you’ll be able to stream Andrew Haigh’s acclaimed 45 Years

Curzon cinemas specialise in screening the best in independent and world cinema and through the Home Cinema service you can stream the latest titles from the In Cinemas Now section, alongside older titles in the Collections and Most Watched sections. 

Best of all, as Curzon Home Cinema is a multi-platform service, you can start watching rented titles on your phone or tablet with the iOS and desktop apps (Silverlight required).

Curzon Home Cinema titles are streamed in 720p HD. There’s just one price for titles and prices vary based on release dates. Films that are being screened in Curzon cinemas at the same time tend to cost around £10 while older flicks are priced closer to the £3.50 mark.
