Vodafone Connect broadband and phone launches nationwide

Unlimited broadband and home phone services from Vodafone Connect are now available across the UK.

Vodafone Connect soft-launched last month on a small scale. Only customers in parts of Manchester, Surrey and Berkshire could sign up for unlimited ADSL and FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) services initially. Now Vodafone Connect is available in over 22 million premises across the UK.

Jeroen Hoencamp, CEO of Vodafone UK said that customers in the trial regions have responded well to the new player entering the market.

“We have had great feedback on our broadband service from the customers involved in our regional launch,” said Hoencamp. “We are really pleased that they are finding the speeds as fast as they hoped for, while the Vodafone Connect companion app gives them an unprecedented level of control over their devices.

“We are looking forward to many other customers taking us up on our great offer and joining us on our journey to be the UK’s leading providers of entertainment services.”

How can I get Vodafone Connect and how much does it cost? While Vodafone mobile customers stand to get the best Vodafone Connect prices, the ISP offers an unlimited ADSL service for £10/month plus line rental (£16.99 at the standard rate).

A dual-band WiFi AC Vodafone-branded router is bundled with all packages at no extra cost besides a £2.50 delivery charge.

Some of the router’s settings can also be accessed via a handy Vodafone Connect app (iOS, Android) which lets subscribers do things like prioritise certain types of traffic and set up guest WiFi hotspots.

Recent figures from BT show that superfast FTTC is now available in over 80 per cent of locations across the UK, meaning Vodafone mobile customers will be able to get speeds of up to 76Mbps for £20/month plus rental.
