Here’s all the pricing and availability details for Amazon’s new Kindle Fire tablets

A few weeks ago, Amazon took the wraps off its new line of Kindle Fire tablets. The online retailer didn’t give specific UK pricing or availability information back then, but it released the crucial details yesterday evening.

The entry level Kindle Fire – which now includes a 1280×800 IPS display and a faster dual-core processor – will cost £119 when it launches on October 24th. The 16GB model will bump the price to £139, and you’ll need to add an additional £10 to either price to remove Amazon’s adverts.

The new 7-inch Kindle Fire HDX, meanwhile, will cost £199 for the base 16GB model. The HDX includes a 1920×1200 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and optional LTE data provided by Vodafone. You’ll need to find an extra £70 to get the LTE version, though. Wi-Fi models are set to ship on November 13th, while the LTE models will find their way into the world on November 27th.

Amazon’s 8.9-inch HDX features the same specs, but increases the display resolution to 2560×1600. The price tag jumps to £329 for the standard 16GB model too, and you’ll be paying £399 for LTE privileges. Just like the 7-inch model, 32GB and 64GB storage options are also available. The Wi-Fi tablets are due on November 19th, but the LTE editions won’t ship until December 13th.

Amazon’s video support service, Mayday, will also be coming to the UK. Hitting the Mayday button on the HDX tablets will bring up a customer service rep who’ll help you through any troubles in real time. Amazon is aiming to provide support to those who need it 24 hours a day throughout the entire year in under 15 seconds, but we’ll have to see how scaleable Mayday really is once the tablets launch.
