Apple iOS 6 to be revealed on the 11th June?

Apple has set tongues wagging by booking out the Moscone Center in San Francisco for a week for a “corporate meeting” starting on 11th June and ending 15th June. The date and the venue both point to one thing and that is Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) expo event, which last year took place on 7th June.As reported by Cult of Mac.

At last years event Apple broke it’s own rules by unveiling the latest OS, iOS 5, at the event, but not the latest iPhone – the first time since the launch of the first iPhone that this has happened. Leaving the iPhone 4S to be launched in October the same year.

If we see a repeat of that this year, we can expect a preview of iOS 6 and a developer-only release and a new iPhone release in October-time. We expect this to be the case and if rumours are to be believed, iPhone launches to be separate to the WWDC in future.

It is also rumoured that Apple will also reveal the completed version of Mac OS X Mountain Lion in all its glory, which we saw previewed at the end of last year.
