UK networks have begun to announce monthly prices and tariffs for Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, with prices starting at £41 a month if you want the phone for free.
Three and Tesco Mobile are the first UK networks to reveal their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 pricing plans, and if you want to rock Apple’s latest mobile, you’ll need to fork out for it.
If you don’t want to pay any cash up-front, Tesco Mobile offers the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for £41 and £46 a month respectively on a 24-month contract, with a free handset. Meanwhile, Three is charging £99 for both iPhone 6 models, with monthly tariffs starting at £38 a month or £44 a month for the bigger phone.
The best deals belong to Tesco Mobile so far, if you want to spend as little as possible. For instance, at Tesco you can get a 16GB iPhone 6 with 3000 minutes, 5000 texts and 3GB of data for £41 a month, or £984 overall.
At Three, the same handset with all-you-can-eat texts and minutes and 2GB of data costs £41 a month also, but you’ll need to fork out £99 up-front, giving a final cost of £1083.
However, Three offers an all-you-can-eat data contract too, starting at £45 a month for the 16GB iPhone 6 and rising to £60 a month (plus £119 for the phone) if you want the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus.
