Asus has announced a new addition to its smartphone line up the Asus Padfone Infinity.
Asus CEO Jerry Shen took to the stage at Mobile World Congress to announce the device, which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Utilising a unibody design, the Padfone Infinity is made from aluminium alloy, with a diamond cut edges.
There’s a 5-inch screen with 1920×1080 resolution and pixel density of 441ppi, which is exceptionally high for sharp text. On the back there’s a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f f/2 for shooting in low late, it also captures full HD video and has an 8fps burst mode.
Connectivity options on the Asus Padfone Infinity include NFC and 4G and in common with the Padfone and Padfone 2, the Padfone Infinity docks in the PadFone Station becoming a 10.1-inch tablet.
