If you’re searching the 2016 Black Friday deals for a cheap mobile phone or a great value contract, let us point you in the right direction. Here’s our pick of the very best phone deals for Black Friday here in the UK.

Of course, the term ‘Black Friday’ is pretty much meaningless now, as most retailers and mobile providers offer discounts for this entire week. With each deal we’ll mention exactly when they’re available, so you’re not caught out.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: Carphone Warehouse

Carphone Warehouse have some of the best Black Friday 2016 phone offers in the UK, from Pay Monthly deals to discounted SIM-free handsets. The following deals are live until the end of Thursday, at which point they’re replaced with fresh new Black Friday offers.

If you’re after a premium mobile, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7 for just £24 per month with no up-front cost. The iPhone 7 can also be grabbed for £33.49 a month on EE, with a £80 up-front cost.

Sony’s Xperia XZ can be grabbed from just £28 a month, while Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL are available for £36 per month (with £30 or £130 up-front cost respectively).

On a tighter budget? Try the excellent Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 for just £12.50 per month, or the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for just £19 per month with a £60 up-front cost.

If you don’t want to be tied into a contract, check out the Google Pixel for £529 (down from £599) or the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for £529 (down from £629). The Blackberry Priv can also be snatched up for £299 now, which is a bargain and a half.

Check out Carphone Warehouse’s Black Friday deals page for all of these offers and more.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: Tesco Mobile

Tesco Mobile’s Black Friday 2016 deals are live now, and include some solid deals on Pay Monthly mobiles and more. These are live until December 4.

If you’re after a phone on a super-cheap contract, you can grab the brilliant Samsung Galaxy J5 or Sony Xperia E5 for £12.50 per month. Tesco is even throwing in a £20 gift card, giving you solid value for money.

Personally, we’d rather go for the Samsung Galaxy A3 for £14.50 per month or Galaxy A5 for £20 per month, although those only come with 500MB of data – you might want to bump that up to at least a gig if you’re always jumping online.

For Pay As You Go mobiles, you can grab the HTC Desire 530 or Moto E3 for £79, or the LG K8 for £84, when bought with a £10 top-up. New customers will get double data for their first month, good news if you’re going to be hammering Facebook over Christmas.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: Mobiles.co.uk

Online mobile retailer Mobiles.co.uk is also currently offering some solid Black Friday 2016 deals on the latest handsets.

For instance, you can grab the iPhone 7 (32GB model) from just £31.50 per month on contract, as long as you don’t mind paying £100 up-front. You can also grab the excellent Samsung Galaxy S7 from £26.50 per month with just £50 up-front.

And if you use the code 15OFFBF, you can bag yourself £15 off the up-front cost of any phone.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: Mobile Phones Direct

Similarly, Mobile Phones Direct is offering Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone SE on discount. You can get the 32GB iPhone 7 on contract with Vodafone with 12GB of data and no up-front cost, for just £42 per month. And if you’d rather have the dinkier iPhone SE (64GB model), that’s £30 per month on contract with Three, for 8GB of data.

Samsung fans can snap up the Galaxy S7 Edge on Three instead, for £36 per month. That also gives you 8GB of data to burn through each month. And the standard S7 can be snaffled for £31 per month on EE, although that’s just for 1GB of data.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: Three

UK network Three has loads of great Black Friday 2016 deals on new phones, on contract.

For instance, you can save up to £187 on the overall cost of an iPhone SE (64GB model) on a 24-month contract. The Galaxy S7 Edge is now also cut-price, saving you up to £229 overall.

You can also save on the LG Leon, Amazon Fire Kids Edition tablet and a new Fitbit.

Best Black Friday 2016 UK mobile deals: EE

If you’re after a great deal on a new phone, EE also has you covered.

In the Pay Monthly deals section, you can grab Apple’s iPhone 6s – still a very solid handset – for £33.49 per month. You can also grab the Samsung Galaxy S7 for £40.99 per month with a whopping 10GB of data, or the Google Pixel phone for £46 per month, with a free DayDream VR headset thrown in. Still expensive, but better than before.

We’d also recommend the Huawei P9, offered for just £23.49 on a monthly EE plan for Black Friday 2016.

Outside of contract, the offerings aren’t quite as strong. You can bag the Huawei P9 Lite for £160 or Sony’s Xperia XA for £155, both of which come with Beats EP headphones. However, neither phone is particularly impressive, as you’ll see from our full reviews. We’d rather go for the Samsung Galaxy A3, now £260 complete with those same Beats.

Alternatively, you can snatch up an Alcatel Pixi 4 (worth £50) for free, just by purchasing £20 of Pay As You Go credit. It’s a very basic handset, but a freebie is not to be sniffed at.

And if you just want a great deal on a SIM, check out EE’s 20GB SIM-only deal, reduced to just £20 per month.

EE’s Black Friday deals are available from Wednesday November 23 through to midnight on Monday November 28.

For instance, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC One A9s bundles, which come packing some Hi-Res headphones, a protective screen cover and clear case, are now £80 off. You can also get the Desire 320 for just £59 (exclusive to Vodafone).
