Vodafone is now taking pre-orders for the black Nokia Lumia 800 on its site. The debut Windows Phone-running smartphone from Nokia can be snapped up for free on £36 24 month contracts, which will give you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, as well as the usual 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi that you get with most smartphones on Vodafone.
In addition to this, Vodafone is also giving the first 10,000 punters who buy a Nokia Lumia 800 £60 worth of vouchers.
These include music vouchers for Zune, purchases from amazon.co.uk and free coffee from Starbucks – t’is the season for gingerbread lattes after all.
Vodafone also recently rolled out its Data Test Drive plan which effectively gives you unlimited data for three months on your Nokia Lumia 800. After three months, Vodafone will suggest a different data add-on if the bundled 500MB isn’t quite touching the sides.
So if you’ve been tempted by the Lumia 800, the useful-sounding Public Transport and Pulse apps and free coffee sounds like a nice extra, you know what to do.
