Following on from the BlackBerry Torch 9800, the Torch 9810 continues the touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard combo as well as introducing the latest version of RIM’s operating system: BlackBerry OS 7, with new icons that are brighter and sharper.
The rest of the phone has had a thorough polish through too and comes with a very capable 5-megapixel camera and is also capable of capturing 720p HD, along with a processor boost and even an NFC chip.
You can be forgiven for thinking the 9800 and the 9810 are twins but what are the real differences? But has Blackberry OS 7 done enough to entice people away from Android and iOS or is it just a stepping stone until the new QNX handsets appear next year.
