iOS developer PadWorx Digital Media has launched its second book-app: A Christmas Carol for iPad.
The app gives Charles Dickens’ classic story a tactile touchscreen update, with 130 pages of text, illustrations, music and sound. The app uses PadWorx’s own game engine for the interactive elements.
We’re big fans of the company’s previous app, for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and this second looks to have the same impressive production values. They also claim that the Dickens family has ‘endorsed’ the app – which given the existence of a few other versions on the App Store, is handy.
£2.99? Even Scrooge would have a hard time arguing that this app isn’t worth the download price.
