From December 1st, Vodafone is introducing lower data roaming rates for customers who want to use the internet on their handsets while traveling the wilds of Europe.
All customers will be able to take advantage of the plan, known as the Vodafone Data Traveller. A daily allowance of up to 25MB of data is available – occasional travellers can pay £2 a day for the data, or business customers may prefer the £10 a month which covers the allowance each day.
The 25MB allowance is only available in 15 European countries, including France, Spain and Italy – however, Vodafone promises that 5MB of data roaming will be available in other European countries.
