The Apple iPhone 4S is a fantastic smartphone. It wowed us with Siri, the power of its A5 chip and it’s still one of the most compact powerful smartphones around, with a 3.5-inch Retina display.
Having recently made the jump to iOS 7, it shares much of the same functionality with the newer iPhone 5, 5c and 5s, including a smarter Siri and a reworked user interface which lets you add an unlimited number of apps to a single folder, not to mention you can now quickly toggle features like Bluetooth and WiFi on or off from Control Centre.
Apple’s App Store also offers one of the most robust libraries of quality apps out there, with all the favourites, from Facebook, to Snapchat, to Vine at your fingertips.
Alongside that Retina display, there’s 8GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS, as well as a VGA FaceTime camera, an 8-megapixel rear snapper capable of Full HD video recording and a battery that promises up to 200 hours of standby time.
