Could this be the Blackberry Storm 3?

Blackberry leaks just keep on coming, with website BGR yet again to grace us with an exciting RIM story.

Last week it was the Blackberry Torch 2 and the Apollo, this time round it is the touchscreen Storm 3.

Now in its third iteration, the somewhat unsuccessful Storm looks set to reinvent itself with a pretty serious spec sheet. First up is the massive resolution bump in the display which is now rumoured to be 800×480 pixels and 3.7″ in size.

The handset is also said to have a 1.2GHz processor and run OpenGL ES 2.0. All the usual smartphone trimmings like accelerometer and magnetometer are also included as well as a proximity sensor. A 720p capable 5 megapixel camera is also rumoured to be part of the phone hardware.

Importantly the handset will include 8GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM, perfect for running and storing demanding applications. A 1230 mAh battery will hopefully keep up the decent battery life tradition of previous RIM handsets.

Finally rounding off the Storm 3 specs are Blackberry OS 6.1, a 3G mobile hotspot and the usual Tri-band UMTS/HSPA and Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE capability.
