Dell has made its first foray into the tablet computer market with the Streak 10, a device the company hopes to take on the likes of business communications giant Blackberry.
The Streak 10 is aimed firmly at taking on the likes of the soon to be released Blackberry Playbook.
The tablet was announced at CES in the wake of the a slew of Dell launches, including a slightly smaller brother, the Streak 7. Dell also announced an Android version of its Venue handset.
The company saw limited success last year with what was a much underrated and value for money
mobile phone.
Details as to the specifications of the tablet remain unclear. Apart from the 10″ screen it is difficult to know what to expect from the Streak 10, other than that it will be geared up for business use and integration.
