Dell, better known for its computers than its mobile phones, followed the announcement of its delicious-sounding tablet with some nuggets of information about a UK release for its Mini 3i handset. Despite being released in China and en route to the USA, Dell told Electric Pig that the diminuitive handset was actually ‘built specifically for the UK’ and should be reaching our shores at some point soon.
The Mini 3i runs Android and features a 3.5-inch touchscreen with 640 x 360 resolution. The 3-megapixel camera features zoom, autofocus and video, while GPS and Bluetooth are included too. The US version is packing 3G so we’re hoping the UK release will feature this as well.
Nothing official on when, where or for how much the Mini 3i will be sold yet, but with a glut of ‘mini’ phones hitting the market you can bet you’ll be spoilt for choice when it does.
