Available for pre-order since the start of March 2011, Clove have announced that they’ll have Dell’s Venue Pro in stock by March 26.
The online retalier has a page ready for your orders, but be prepared to pay £420 for the Windows Phone 7 handset. That will net you a SIM-free handset, ready for any network and any tariff you’d like.
The Venue Pro has a slide out keyboard, but unusually slides out below the screen vertically.
The AMOLED screen is a huge 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, reinforced with Gorilla Glass. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back.
Following several delays, the new Dell phone will be competing for the hearts of Windows Phone 7 fans, who get to choose between the Dell Venue Pro and the HTC Pro 7 for their sliding keyboard needs.
