Samsung Galaxy S4 wallpapers extracted and available to download now

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has got to be the most hotly anticipated phone of 2013, despite the phenominal HTC One and the elegant, element resistant Sony Xperia Z. That said, one big surprise at the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event revolved around TouchWiz, Samsung’s interface. Packing the same version of TouchWiz as its predecessor, Nature UX, it looks a lot like a Samsung Galaxy S3 on the inside. Not to give you exactly the same visual experience though, those clever Koreans have garnished the phone with a plethora of smart features, and a fresh new collection of 1080p wallpapers, the latter of which can be downloaded right now.

Thanks to those smarty pants over at ROM Dump, by way of SamMobile, anyone out there with a Samsung Galaxy S3 can get it to look and feel like a GS4 with minimal effort. How to do it? Just download the Samsung Galaxy S4 wallpapers onto your Galaxy S3, long press your homescreen and swap out the home and lock screen wallpapers for one of these 1080p beauts.

Recently announced in New York and expected to arrive here in the UK on the 26 April, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the successor to the ever popular Samsung Galaxy S3 and looks set to sell like crazy after the huge amount of attention it’s been garnering since murmurs of its release surfaced.

Now we know it’s coming, we also know what to expect; 5-inches of Full HD Super AMOLED screen with a 441PPI (pixels per inch), 3G, 4G, microSD expandability and a range of storage capacities within. In select markets, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will offer a 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor. Here in old blighty though, we’ll have to ‘settle’ for a 1.9GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM.

What does this all mean? It’ll be one powerful beast. Probably our favourite hardware highlights include the Infrared remote control, which the Samsung Galaxy S4 shares in common with the HTC One. We’re also a little overjoyed at the 2,600mAh battery inside, which should give it the battery life edge over the competition.

Will it? Until we get a Samsung Galaxy S4 in for review, it’s all speculation. That said, one thing we can say for sure is that the wallpapers are mighty handsome, so pick up your Galaxy S4 wallpapers and check back for our full Galaxy S4 review coming soon.
