Brought to us by Gameloft, Dungeon Hunter is back for its third instalment and it’s free. This release takes place across 16 arenas within four different thrilling worlds. It is less of the RPG (Role Play Game) and more of a straight up hack n slash. If you want to adopt any of the real-world features you loved from previous RPG versions, you’ll need to pay for it via in-app purchases.
Early reviews on iTunes hint to a backlash in the move to take away the lack of story to the game. It is definitely worth noting that this is a free app and does not deliver the same gameplay you would expect from the paid for versions of the game. However, it offers great graphics, character customisation, four fantasy worlds and over 1,000 items to unlock – with the option to purchase these at the start if you can’t wait.
