EE and Three nab Galaxy Note 4 and Sony Xperia Z3

The Sony Xperia Z3 and Galaxy Note 4, both announced at IFA yesterday, will be arriving on Three and EE.

Although neither company has announced prices for the phones yet, EE has said any of its customers signing up to one of the new devices will benefit from all of its usual bonuses.

That’s inclusive roaming calls and texts in select international destinations, 2-for-1 cinema tickets with EE Wednesdays, discounts on EE’s superfast broadband and calls to 080 numbers.

Take Note: EE, Three, O2 and Phones 4u have snapped up Samsung’s monolithic Note 4

The Sony Xperia Z3 features a 5.2-inch full HD screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 2.5 GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor, 3100 mAh battery and a staggering 20.7 MP camera with auto focus around the back. Like the Xperia Z1 and Z2, it’s also waterproof and dust protected.

Nicola Shenton, Head of Device Portfolio at EE, said: “Sony’s Xperia handsets have always showcased the very best in mobile performance, and the latest range does not disappoint. When combined with the UK’s biggest 4G network, customers can really get the most from their latest Xperia in more places than any other network”.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and comes with a powerful 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. Around the back, there’s a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation and a 8x digital zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will also be available from Phones4u in black, white and exclusively in gold for the first eight weeks following launch and from O2 on its Refresh tariff.

It’s thought the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will go on sale on October 10, but this hasn’t been confirmed by any of the networks or retailers.

EE will also be selling the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, which is shaping up to be our favourite mini phone announced at IFA 2014, and the Sony Xperia E3 budget 4G phone.  Three has announced that it’s now selling the Nokia Lumia 530 and Lumia 635 as well.
