Earlier this year we wrote about the Fingerist, a clever iPhone dock that turns your iPhone into a guitar. At £170 it’s not cheap and only 50 were made so we didn’t expect to see it being used so soon. YouTube user koyamatsuo has mastered the Fingerist and the PocketGuitar iPhone app, playing Europa as if he was Santana himself. The PocketGuitar app costs 59p [download link]. You don’t need the Fingerist accessory to use the PocketGuitar app but it does look cooler. We wonder how long it’s going to take for a mainstream band to use an iPhone instrument?
