Get revenge in the office with Griffin’s HELO TC Assault app-controlled helicopter

Taking office pranks to the next level, Griffin technology last year released HELO TC, an app controlled helicopter that is sure to wake up your sleepy colleagues well into the afternoon lull. News announced at CES revealed new HELO TC Assault features for the new year on iOS and now on Android too.

The app remote-controlled helicopter now comes with twin missile launchers and a new sleek design. The twin missile launchers can store an even six missiles, which means even the worst shooter can land at least one on a snoozing colleague.

The aircraft has twin roter blades and includes a Flight Deck that provides a sturdy grip for when you are swooping in for attack. This plugs into your headphone jack, as below, and delivers infra-red control via the downloadable app.

Manoeuvring your way through the air couldn’t be easier, simply tilt the device to steer or use the touchscreen controls via the app. This features all the flight controls including; launching missiles, activating the LED lights on the front of the aircraft and a special feature that allows you to record and execute up to three flight plans. The coolest feature I think has is the Auto Land button, giving you an instant perfect landing in the event of a crisis.

The helicopter will be available via the Griffin website priced at US $59.99 and you can download the app to your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
