Alcatel Pop 4 Plus: Unboxing and hands-on review

We unbox and go hands-on with the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus, brother of the mighty Alcatel Pop 4S, which packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, fast charge and a selfie camera boasting its own flash.

What are the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus specs?

The Pop 4 Plus is a 5.5-inch phone with a Full HD screen, similar to that other big mid-range mobile, the Moto G4. You can prise off the plastic back to access the dual SIM-card slots and microSD memory card slot, which can be used to expand the 16GB of storage. Sadly the battery is not removable.

A quad-core processor runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with Alcatel’s own OneTouch interface on top. You also get a rear-mounted 8-megapixel camera and front-facing 5-megapixel camera, both of which boast their own LED flash.
