Pitched as a gaming phone, the HTC Trophy is a sturdy touchscreen phone with a 3.8-inch screen (WVGA). We’d like to say that it boasts a variety of gaming features but it’s actually very similar to the rest of HTC’s new touchscreen phones – it’s a big screen.
The gaming element on the HTC 7 Trophy comes from Xbox Live, which isn’t exactly the same as the full-on Xbox version but you can still get points through it. Think of it as Microsoft’s mobile gaming portal that’s connected with its bigger brother who’s much better at gaming.
In addition to HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS, the Trophy packs 8GB of onboard memory (max), a 1Ghz processor, 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby surround sound, a 5-megapixel camera and 720p HD video recording. You’ll be able to pick up a Trophy on Vodafone with a monthly contract.
