HTC Desire S video review

The HTC Desire was one of the most popular handsets of 2010, winning a host of awards, including a coveted five stars on Recombu, so its successor – the HTC Desire S – is one of the most eagerly anticipated phones of the year.

Running Android 2.3:Gingerbread, with the excellent HTC Sense, it’s a very powerful handset, with a 1Ghz processor and a RAM boost from 512MB to 768MB to improve performance.

Cosmetic differences include the removal of the solid Android buttons to be replaced with touch-sensitive controls, that let you quickly access key features. The handset is also slimmer with a new eye-catching unibody design, evolving from its predecessor.

There’s a 5-megapixel camera that also captures high definition at 720p, another new feature is the addition of DLNA, for streaming video to a compatible HD TV.

So how does it compare to the HTC Desire? Does it matter that it doesn’t have a dual core processor like the it’s bigger brother the HTC Sensation?  Check our our full video review below.
