HTC One X arriving on O2 5th of April

The HTC One X will be arriving on O2 on Thursday the 5th of April according to a tweet from O2’s UK Twitter account to a customer.

A tweet to a customer from earlier in the day (spotted by SoMobile) reads thus: “we’re not due to get the HTC until 5th April so no decision on tariffs yet.”

While Phones 4U are already selling the HTC One X on pre-order there’s been no delivery date or even a hint of when they’ll be sent out.

Phones 4U however has provided prices for the HTC One X on contracts; £36 a month will get you a free HTC One X with 300 minutes, 3000 messages and 1GB of data. Phones 4U will also bung in the HTC Media Link HD accessory (normally £80) for free as well.

The HTC One X packs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4 into a compact 134.36 x 69.9 x 8.9 mm frame with a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 (720p) screen. The 8-megapixel camera focusses within 0.2 seconds and can take bursts of up to 99 shots (see below) by holding down the shutter key; check out our other hands on pics and video here.

As O2 says, there’s no word on pricing yet, we’ll expect to hear more closer to the end of the month/early April.
