HTC One X+ initial pricing and availability

The HTC One X+ still hasn’t made it onto store shelves just yet, but a small number of websites do now feature the forthcoming flagship.

HTC’s first Jelly Bean device is listed on Clove’s website with SIM free pricing of £474 (inc. VAT). The One X+ is simply the Taiwanese company’s current Android flagship: the HTC One X, reworked to offer more power; thanks to a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, more storage; with internal memory upped to 64GBs and more battery life; as the One X+ jumps from a 1800mAh to a 2100 mAh battery, which HTC say should offer up to 50% longer battery life when paired with the alterations and optimisations they’ve made to Android running onboard.

HTC One X+ on Clove

Speaking of which, the One X+ is the first of HTC’s Android family to offer the latest 4.1 Jelly Bean underneath the company’s latest UI overlay Sense 4+. HTC told us that this rework means a faster user experience, better stability, additional features and longer battery life as a result.

You’ll still have to wait a little longer for One X+ to make itself available for purchase, but alongside Clove’s offering, rumours and spyshot suggest that when it does arrive, O2 will be one of the first networks stock the beefy Android on the highstreet. The expected arrival of the HTC One X+ is scheduled for October 22nd, so we just have a week in hand to learn any more that we can before its official availability.
