HTC One X video review

The HTC One X was the first phone in HTC’s new One Series to land in the UK. It’s a big handset – and when we say big we mean it has a 4.7-inch screen just a smidgen smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Note at 5.1-inches, but bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S2 at 4.3-inches.

In terms of specifications, HTC has packed this stunning metal phone with an impressive list of features. There’s a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1GB RAM bringing more graphic intensive gaming and ably handling multitasking. HTC’s also totally redesigned the camera module – as well as 8-megapixel stills photographs it can also shoot HD movies.

All three handsets in the One Series launch with Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Google’s Android operating system. This has been overlayed with HTC’s own interface – HTC Sense – which includes live programs (widgets) that update automatically, such as the weather and Facebook and Twitter. It makes the whole Android experience very user friendly, especially if you’re new to smartphones.

So what’s the HTC One X like? Last year HTC lost ground to the Samsung Galaxy S2, is this the phone that Samsung needs to be worried about? Check out our video below to find out, or you can read our extended HTC One X review here.
