HTC Pyramid, HTC Ignite and HTC Prime Android and Windows Phone 7 pictures leaked

More lovely leaked pics, this time ones purporting to be in progress shots of the HTC Pyramid, an Android device and the HTC Ignite and Prime, two Windows Phone 7 phones.

The Pyramid, meant to be HTC’s first dual-core phone, we’ve heard about before. The leaked pics originated from xda.cn (a Chinese site) who say that the Pyramid has a 4.3-inch qHD res screen, two cameras (main: 8-megapixel, front: 1.3-megapixel) and a 1.2GHz processor.

This is more or less consistent with what we heard back in February, although it doesn’t say whether or not the CPU is single or dual-core.

It also says that the Pyramid runs on ‘Android 3.0’ (which is optimised for tablets, not phones) so make of that what you will. Unless of course HTC really is working on a 4.3-inch tablet… we’re presuming that they meant to say Android 2.3.

The HTC Ignite apparently features a 3.7-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera and looks a bit like a metallic smoothed out version of the 7 Trophy. Again, xda.cn are listing the CPU as being a “Qualcomm 800MHz processor” which can’t be right – we all know that Windows Phone 7 devices are required to have at least 1GHz processors. Apply a very liberal pinch of salt here.

The HTC Prime looks like a silvery version of the 7 Pro, complete with a slide-out Qwerty keypad and a 3.7-inch screen. Feature-wise there’s more of the same here, a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash.

It’s entirely possible that all these pics are discarded works of concept art – the Windows Phone 7 ones in particular could both have been early sketches of the aforementioned 7 Trophy and 7 Pro. Still any news of a dual-core HTC Android phone is enough to get us excited.

We spoke to HTC who declined to comment.
