Huawei has announced a new addition to its Ascend smartphone range – the Huawei Ascend G 330.
The phone sits above the Huawei Ascend G 300 in Huawei’s smartphone range and includes a dual-core processor. Huawei is aiming the phone at newcomers to the smartphone market, customers upgrading from their first smartphone and the price conscious consumer.
The G 330 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, overlayed with Huawei’s HAP 5.1 UI. Huawei is keen to promote the entertainment capability of the phone, which is preloaded with BBC iPlayer, along with EA Games Sims Freeplay.
The Huawei Ascend G300 impressed by offering a 4-inch screen and single-core processor for just £100. Huawei has yet to announce PAYG pricing for the Ascend G 330 – but it will be available from TalkTalk for £10 a month.

The Ascend G330 sits above the G300 in Huawei’s range, but the G300 will continue, so the new handset is not a successor.
How much does the Huawei Ascend G330 cost?
The Huawei Ascend will be available on contracts starting at £10 a month from TalkTalk, there’s no news yet on PAYG pricing. It’s not a TalkTalk exclusive, so it will be available from other networks, although at the moment Huawei couldn’t confirm further details.
When does the Huawei Ascend G330 launch?
