Grab the tri-camera Honor 6+ for just £299 next month

Huawei has revealed the UK price and release date for its slick new flagship, the Honor 6+, a 5.5-inch mobile packing three cameras and a host of other premium features.

Launched at MWC last month, Huawei’s Honor 6+ boasts some impressive specs but also an impressively affordable price, announced today for the UK. You can pre-order the Honor 6+ on Amazon from April 6th and the phone will go on sale at Three stores throughout the country on May 1st, for just £299.

In case you missed the news, the Honor 6+ packs dual 8-megapixel cameras on the back, which combine to produce 13-megapixel images, through the power of magic. You also get an 8-megapixel snapper on the front for shooting your beautiful mug.

The Honor 6+’s 5.5-inch Full HD screen should be a solid way to take in a film on the go, if previous Honors are anything to go on. You get a 32GB slab of internal storage for your media and a micro SD memory card slot to expand if needed.

The whole lot is powered by a 1.8GHz Kirin 925 octa-core processor, backed up by a meaty 3GB of RAM, so the Honor 6+ should run all of your games and apps nice and smoothly too.

We’re already massive fans of the value-packed Honor 6, which is a seriously strong case of ‘more than we expected for the price’. So far, all signs point to the Honor 6+ continuing the good work, offering up serious competition to the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy A5. If you’re after a premium phone but don’t have five or six hundred quid to spare, keep your eye on this one.

Check back soon for the full Honor 6+ review and if you can’t wait ’til May, here’s our take on the sexy Honor 6.
