Images leaked of Nokia’s PureView Lumia Windows Phone?

Photos leaked in China reveal what Nokia’s PureView Lumia may look like, as reported by wmpoweruser.com. At Mobile World Congress earlier this year, we were wow-ed when Nokia revealed that it would be releasing a phone with a huge 41-megapixel camera – taking cameraphone’s up more then a few notches.

From the images we can see that the device sports an unusual and sporty like design, plus jazzy covers in yellow, pink and black. The image above also reveals the spec of the Nokia device, including 4.3-inch curved touchscreen with HD display, 41-megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss lens and PureView imaging technology, 1080p HD recording and Rich Recording Technology. Plus a duel core processor with Adreno 320 GPU and Windows Phone OS.

Being such a camera / video orientated device and looking at the rugged appearance of the concept design, we can’t help wondering if this is aimed at the extreme / sports end of the market – perhaps in an attempt to emulate the success of the Go Pro camera range on a phone.

What do you reckon to these leaked photos, smart move by Nokia? Is this the phone to bring Nokia back into the running? How do you feel about having a 41-megapixel camera on your smartphone? We’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
