iPad 2: Available from Orange and T-Mobile UK

Orange and T-Mobile are the first out the gates to announce it will be bringing the next-gen Apple tablet to the UK on 25 March 2011.

Beating the rest of the UK phone networks, they announced the good news through Twitter, where all the good phone network news seems to come from.

No noises, murmurs or rumours yet on what we can expect to pay per month, or specifics on data allowance.

But it has only been announced a few hours ago. We’ll give them until Thursday. We’re hoping for an  “Orange” smart cover freebie, because they look very nice indeed.

While both thinner and lighter than the previous iPad, there’s now a dual-core processor, with Apple promising 9 times the graphical nous of the older tablet.

The iPad 2 will come in both black and white, with 16, 32 and 64GB sizes. There will also be both WiFi-only and 3G models when the new tablet is released on the 25 March. Tariff details when we get them.
