LG G2 Mini UK release date set for May/June

The release date and price of the LG G2 Mini have finally been revealed. Read on to find out all the juicy details…

UPDATE: We’ve heard from online retailer Unlocked-mobiles.com that the LG G2 Mini is now in stock and will sell for £235 including VAT. The website does indeed list the G2 Mini as in stock with next day delivery. We’ll be bringing you a full review soon.

The LG G2 Mini will hit the UK later this month, according to online retailer Clove. The online retailer states that the G2 Mini will sell for £249.99, including VAT, with the first lot of stock due to ship out on April 30. The G2 Mini was originally unveiled in February at the Mobile World Congress. At the time, LG promised the handset would launch in March. But the launch date soon got pushed back.

So what can we expect from the G2 Mini? Well, despite its ‘mini’ name, the LG G2 Mini is far from small. It runs a 4.7-inch qHD (940×540) resolution display for one. It’s also set to be made in four different colours: black, white, gold and red. In terms of power, it packs a stripped-down 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 8GB of internal storage. It also has an 8-megapixel camera and 4G connectivity.
