LG officially launches G4 Stylus and G4c

LG has officially taken the wraps off two new G4 smartphone variants, the LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c.

As you have probably guessed, the LG G4 Stylus comes with a stylus, while the LG G4c is a diminutive, budget friendly device based.

The G4 Stylus ooks relatively unchanged from what was revealed in early leaks. The phablet has a 5.7-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 258PPI and will come powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core chip with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage, with an SD card slot for storage upgrades.

Aside from the eponymous stylus, the device will also offer up a 3,000mAh removable battery, 13-megapixel primary camera with 8-megapixel secondary and Android 5.0 out of the box, and you’ll get LTE and 3G support, too.

The G4c (pictured above) looks pretty similar to the Stylus, with a 1.2GHz quad-core chip, 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage space with micro SD support, as well as LTE and Android 5.0 running things.

The device does, however, offer up a smaller, 5-inch screen and a less roomy 2,540mAh battery and slightly less impressive camera tech, with an 8-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary on-board.

Both devices will make use of LG’s Laser Auto Focus, Gesture Shot, Knock Code and Glance View, which lets you drag down when the screen’s off to see the time and any notifications on-screen.

The G4 Stylus (or G Stylo if you live in North America) will come in both LTE and 3G-only iterations and you’ll be able to pick from Metallic Silver or Floral White.

The G4c will be LTE only and will be available in Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.

No firm launch dates have so far been confirmed but LG have stated that the devices will be launching in strategic markets in the weeks to come.
