LG Optimus 3D: Photo gallery

The LG Optimus 3D has a glasses-free 3D screen, in addition to a dual-lens camera for filming in three dimensions. There’s a dual-core processor making sure that anything you record or watch is silky smooth.

You can’t really appreciate from these pictures the effect of the 3D display. The menus are beautifully animated and very polished. We found the 3D effect strange to begin with but our eyes eventually got used to it.

The LG Optimus 3D does 2D quite nicely as well. Here’s the game Lets Golf 2 in action. Slick graphics, bright colours and sharp contrasts aplenty.

A dedicated ‘3D’ button sits on the top of the LG Optimus 3D. This toggles between 2D and 3D modes on the main menu and on the camera.

The LG Optimus 3D has got an HDMI output, so you can watch any 3D video you record on an HD Ready 3D TV. Great news for any budding James Camerons out there.

This gigantic, rotating LG Optimus 3D took pride out place on the edge of LG’s display stand. Sadly, it’s screen wasn’t interactive, but it seemed to capture the attention of everyone who walked past it – especially the girl with the red backpack.
