LG has just released an Android 2.1/Eclair upgrade for the LG Optimus GT540, bringing faster running times and live wallpapers to the device.
You’ll need to download the upgrade on your computer and connect your LG Optimus via a USB cable to get Eclair on your phone. LG also recommends that you back up everything before installing the upgrade, so make sure that you do.
Data stored on the SD card, like pictures, shouldn’t be erased however.
