Mobile Tail stand gives your phone a tail, surprisingly

Phone stands don’t tend to get our pulses racing, but the Mobile Tail is a cutie.

Made from flexible liquid silicon rubber, the Mobile Tail is attached to the handset by a simple suction plate so you can change its position from landscape to portrait quickly and easily. Although we’re not on board with the statement that “mobile devices are like our pets”, we do like the fact that the stand was inspired by the tail of a Dalmatian.

Designed by Sangwoo and Jongwon Park who must be big fans of One Hundred and One Dalmatians, we mostly love the tail-like aspect of the stand. With the right picture of a dog, you could make it look like a real tail! If, you know, that’s the kind of thing you’re into.

Not to drop any hints or anything, but this little stand would go down very well in my stocking this year. Unfortunately it’s currently a concept design, but a little detail like that won’t stop Father Christmas – right? [Yanko Design]
