Motorola has finally announced the UK launch of both its latest Moto G 4G smartphone and Moto Maker for the Moto 360, so you can customise your smartwatch.
Following a successful launch in Brazil back in February, Motorola is finally bringing its new 4G model of last year’s Moto G to British soil.
The LTE-enabled device comes packing plenty of great specs and features like the original Moto G, including a 5-inch display protected with Gorilla Glass 3, Android 5.0.2 and a solid Snapdragon 400 chip, as well as 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded thanks to the microSD card slot.
But this new 4G version of the Moto G also includes a roomier 2,390mAH battery, to give you more play time, as well as the aforementioned 4G LTE for faster internet access.
When the device was first announced, we were concerned that all the improvements would push its price too far up, removing its biggest selling point – the insane value for money. But at £159 SIM free it’s still a hell of a good deal, even if it is £40 more than the previous version.
Motorola, being a busy old bee, has also decided to give UK users access to Moto Maker for the Moto 360 smartwatch. This rather slick online service allows users to customise and personalise their device and is already up and running, with prices for a custom 360 watch starting at £199.
That means you can choose what bracelet you want, what watch face and the final finish too, and while the choices aren’t amazingly varied right now, there’s still enough customisation to ensure you’re happy with your wrist rocket.
You can order the brand new Moto G 4G from Motorola’s website right now as you read this, and it’ll also be available from Argos, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda or Carphone Warehouse from March 16th.
