Moto 360 2015 models
The new Moto 360 comes in three distinct flavours. First, there’s the standard model, which is available in two different sizes: a 46mm version packing a 1.56-inch screen and a smaller 42mm version with a 1.37-inch display.
You can also pick up the ‘Women’s Collection’ version of the Moto 360 2, which is similar to the standard 42mm model but with smaller bands so the watch doesn’t look too bulky on the wrist.
Finally, there’s the ‘Moto Sport Collection’, which is a revamped version of the standard 42mm moel that packs some bonus features for active types.
Firstly, the Sport model boasts a special AnyLight screen that can be clearly seen outside when you’re pounding the pavement (or whatever it is that fit people do). And secondly, you have built-in GPS to track your motions.
However, while you can peel off the bands on the other Moto 360 2015 models, the Sport edition comes with a single non-removable rubbery band (available in orange, white and grey).
Moto 360 2015 specs
All versions of the Moto 360 2015 boast built-in WiFi, 4GB of on-board storage and the usual range of sensors, including a heart rate monitor, gyroscope and accelerometer. They run Android Wear 1.3, which is now compatible with iPhones as well as Android phones, and a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor will hopefully provide smooth performance.
The smaller models come with a 300mAh battery while the larger models come with a 400mAh cell, all supporting wireless charging.
