If all you wanted for Christmas was news of a new, never-seen-before Sony Ericsson Android handset, then hurrah! Your wish has come true!
Supposedly running Gingerbread with Sony Ericsson’s own Timescape skin, the mysterious handset has a huge camera stuck on the front – as well as two pages of test shots uploaded to Picasa.
Sony Ericsson aren’t breaking any new ground in terms of design here – it looks a whole lot like the result of a drunken night between the X10 and the Vivaz to us – but could the serious front-mounted camera (with flash) mean the end of the rear-facing snapper?
There’s plenty going on in the Sony Ericsson camp at the moment – hopefully January will bring with it some concrete answers about the PlayStation phone, this mystery “Hallon” handset and plenty more besides.
