The specs for Google’s next-gen Nexus have been confirmed through a leaked service manual

An alleged service manual for Google’s next Nexus phone has leaked courtesy of Android Police, laying bare all the crucial details for the device. Most of the information lines up with previous leaks, although there are some new details that might interest would-be owners.

Google and LG’s collaboration includes a 4.95-inch 1080p IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and an 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation. Hopefully that will lead to a Nexus phone that finally has a halfway decent camera.

Other niceties include a 2,300mAh battery – disappointing considering the LG G2 has a 3,000mAh cell – as well as Slimport, wireless charging, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and – most importantly – LTE connectivity.

There’s still no word on when the next-gen Nexus will be announced, but we’ll hazard a guess and say that we’ll hear more before the end of the month.
