Android fans in the US have been able to get their hands on the refreshed Nexus 7 for some time, but the 2013 version of Google and Asus’s tablet is finally available in the UK. The new Nexus 7 is now available on the Play Store, as well as through retailers such as PC World and Currys.
The 16GB version of the 2013 Nexus 7 will cost £199, while the 32GB version will be slightly more expensive at £239. It’s not yet clear when the unlocked 32GB LTE version of the tablet will launch in the UK, although Google has previously said that it should arrive “in the coming weeks.” We do know, however, that O2 will be selling the LTE-equipped model on September 13th for £320.
Google has also dropped the price of the Nexus 4. The 8GB handset is now available for £159 – down from £239 – while the 16GB version will cost £199. That’s a great deal for an extremely capable device running Android 4.3, but the next phone in the Nexus series may only be a few short months away. Google typically tends to announce their latest handset around October or November, so it may be worth a second thought if you prefer to own the company’s best available phone.
