Nokia debuts Bluetooth stereo headset in six colours

You may have read about the Mee-Go touting Nokia N9 and the trio of C2 mid-range smartphones earlier today. But even if you aren’t a Nokia fan you might be tempted by this bright bluetooth stereo headset, which comes in a range of eye-popping colours.

The Nokia BH11 is stereo headset, which means you can stream your music in stereo from your mobile phone, laptop, mp3 player or any bluetooth enabled device wirelessly up to a distance of 10m.

But, the headset isn’t just for listening to the latest tunes; pair it with a handset and and you can also take calls and you can even pair the headset with two devices, such as a phone and mp3 player. Built-in digital sound processing (DSP) helps adjust the sound to suit the environment.

Supplied in large, medium and small to fit different ear sizes, the buds have been designed to block out background noise, while remaining comfortable. At just 9.5g they are certainly lightweight and built into the cable is an oversized clip that connects to your shirt or jacket and also doubles as a control for music and calls.

The BH111 is powered by a rechargeable 120mAH li-ion battery, which charges with two hours. It also included a 3.5mm connector, so you can plug it in and use it like a conventional pair of headphones.

Available in conservative white and black, as well as slightly more garish blue, green and pink if you’re a little more adventurous the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH111 is out later this year for 39 euros (around £35).
