The Nokia Lumia 1020 lands in the UK on September 25th

Nokia’s 41-megapixel Windows Phone has been available in the United States for some time, but the handset will finally be sold in the UK before the end of the month. The company announced today that the Lumia 1020 will officially launch on September 25th, with several carriers already onboard.

O2, Vodafone, Three, and EE will all be carrying the phone, as will the Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u. The phone comes with 32GB of onboard storage as standard, but O2 has the exclusive rights to the 64GB model. The carrier says that the Lumia 1020 will be available for free on a £37 a month contract.

If you don’t want to be tied down by a contract, then you’ll be able to purchase the device unlocked for £549. Three will be selling the phone on PAYG for the same price, but it will be slightly more expensive at online retailer Clove, who currently has the Lumia 1020 up for pre-order for £588. That price will net you extras, though, including a wireless charging pad, wireless charging cover, Nokia’s Camera Grip, and a tripod.
