Nokia Lumia 910 coming to Europe in May?

We got up close and personal with the Nokia Lumia 900 at CES 2012 and were pretty candid about our first impressions, stating:

“the Nokia Lumia 800 works because of its design, lithe, comfortable to hold and pocketable. The Lumia 900 is the 800 blown up and loses the refined feel in the process. If it got a pixel bump, or a camera boost, we might think differently, but as it stands, we’re happy with these specs in their current, Lumia 800 sized form factor.”

We clearly weren’t the only ones thinking along these lines. In fact, it looks like Nokia themselves shared the opinion that the bigger brother to the Nokia Lumia 800 would benefit from a spec-bump beyond screen size and 4G, with a 12-megapixel variant reportedly on its way this May. Veteran mobile blogger and insider extraordinaire, Eldar Murtazin shared this in a tweet not long ago and while we can’t confirm this will indeed happen, despite being a controversial figure, Eldar has been right about these sorts of things in the past.

That phoneArena reported on the T-Mobile variant of the Nokia Lumia 900 sporting a 12-megapixel camera module coming to the States this summer suggests that chances are a Nokia Lumia 910 is indeed on the way, so bring on May and a Nokia Windows Phone 7.5 camera phone to rival the likes of the HTC Titan, Samsung Galaxy S2 and Apple iPhone 4S.
