Nokia Lumia 928 camera samples appear online

Photographs have appeared online allegedly taken using the Nokia Lumia 928, a yet to be announced Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

Nokia lumia 928 EXIF information

Andrysym discovered an initial three photos that appear to be one of blog from one the many camera tester Nokia employs. It’s a personal blog containing photographs of a child, clearly not intended for the public domain which we have chosen not to publish them. However two of the photographs mention the name Nokia Lumia 928 in the EXIF data and are taken using the front-facing camera (right).

One of the photographs is taken of a mirror and you can clearly see a white smartphone in the photographers hand. It looks like a Nokia Lumia phone, with a ceramic detaiing around the lens but the flash placement is different, which could indicate a Xenon flash. This photograph is taken using the rear camera and has been resized so there’s no EXIF data.

Since then Nokia Power User has found more photographs taken using the primary camera.

We heard rumours in January Nokia was readying a Windows Phone incorporating PureView technology, codenamed the Nokia EOS, made from aluminium and bridging the Nokia 808 PureView and Nokia Lumia 920 and recently the name Lumia 928  has emerged.

The photographs were originally posted on a blog http://mutkas.blogspot.com/ which has since become restricted access, perhaps indicating they are genuine.
